National Headquarters

Welcome to the National Headquarters Church of ULIC. Located in Togba Camp, Old Road our headquarters serves as the central hub for our national ministries, leadership, and administrative operations. It is a place of worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth for our church community.

Rev. Marvin O. Suah

Resident Pastor

In times like these were human believe in their philosophy even more than what the Bible says, I urge you to always remember to put your trust in the Lord, the one who is the author and finisher of our faith. He promised never to leave us or forsake us.
You can’t dominate the world until you are dominated by God. Your believe is what makes you, because you are the product of your thought; what you believe is what you become. There is no mountain anywhere; everyman ignorance is a mountain. Therefore take courage in the Lord in time like this. For with the Lord being on our side, this too will come to pass. God bless you and keep safe.

Overview

During the first chapter of 2020, the church started with the love of Christ by gaining regular attendance in all services with all departments in their right perspective. Early this year the church joined Mr. Able Y. Gonlewon and Mrs. Sarah K Gonlewon’s hands together in holy matrimony on Jan. 18, 2020. This was also followed by Mr. and Mrs. Teahtay Teah on March 7, 2020, an occasion that drew the attention of many young people to live a rightful life in the services of the Lord. Before the wedding ceremony, on Saturday, February 29, 2020, the church conducted her first baptismal ceremony, baptizing Duolay Teah and adding her to the membership of the church.

In the wake of the deadly pandemic (COVID – 19) that has affected every fabric of society including the closure of churches, the church has employed the use of the media team along with the pastor’s office to bring the services live to her members.

Currently, the media team is the channel through which the church conducts its Sunday services, mid-week services, and Bible studies respectively. We wish to express our thanks and appreciation to the Media Team who have chosen to serve God by making the world a global village.

During these troubled times, the church has been instrumental in the distribution of cash and food items to the sick and the needy. Food items (Rice and Oil) were donated to the church by Sis. Yeekor Larkeh was among some of the items received by church members and other needy community dwellers.

Conclusion

There is so much to say about the first quarter. I feel that we have made great strides this quarter in being church-together. Some churches struggle with getting fractured into smaller and smaller groups who don’t know each other well. Whether it is by worship service, committee group, or life group, we tend to silo out and move apart. The ability to come together and hear the voices of traditional and informal worshipers, old and young, new and longtime members— this is truly where the fertile ground is for the Spirit to move in a congregation. And I think we are doing that as a church in a really good way.

Therefore we encourage all department heads and members to work more strongly next quarter as we hope to achieve what we were not able to achieve this quarter, let us always stand together as a church in other to accomplish more for Christ.

The church leadership home visitation initiated this month was one of the most creative measures put in place in other to know the condition of her members. This visitation was intended to build mature relationships for the sick, disabled, and other church members but due to the pandemic, these actions have come to a standstill.
