Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible or Holy Scripture, as the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, as God originally gave them. It is the only inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and final Word of God, sufficient to lead sinners to repentance and salvation in Jesus Christ, and serve as the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. The Bible is so clear about those things necessary for salvation and righteous living that even unlearned readers can, with help from the Holy Spirit, sufficiently understand them. We believe that Christians should strive, with help from the Holy Spirit, to read the Holy Bible (Acts 17:2, 3; 18:28; Romans 15:4; 1 Corinthians 2:13; 10:11; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21).
